Top Performers From Weekend 11

Seven former VBL players were listed among D1Baseball.com's Top Performers for Weekend 11.

PITCHERS

Miguel Hugas, Mercer (Staunton Braves) - Hugas pitched 7.0 innings and allowed one unearned run on three hits in a win over Wofford. He struck out five and walked one.

Connor Hensley, Campbell (Purcellville Cannons) - Hensley pitched 6.2 innings and allowed one run on five hits in a win over Charleston. He struck out seven and walked one.

HITTERS

Ike Schmidly, JMU (Staunton Braves / New Market Rebels) - Schmidly was 9-for-13 with two doubles, three homers and nine RBIs in a three-game series at Louisiana-Monroe.

Jake Bennett, Dallas Baptist (Charlottesville Tom Sox / Winchester Royals) - Bennett was 7-for-15 with four homers and eight RBIs as DBU won 2-of-3 at FIU.

Jordan Jaffe, Liberty (Harrisonburg Turks) - Jaffe was 7-for-11 with four doubles, a triple and 12 RBIs as the Flames won 2-of-3 vs. Delaware.

Landon Beaver, UAB (Strasburg Express) - Beaver was 7-for-14 with three doubles, a homer and two RBIs as UAB won 2-of-3 vs. Memphis.

Shintaro Inoue, Kansas State (Purcellville Cannons) - Inoue was 6-for-13 with three doubles, a homer and three RBIs on a three-game series with Kansas.
