Snyder Earns SoCon Pitcher of the Week Honor

Western Carolina’s Mason Snyder earned his second SoCon Pitcher of the Week honor after picking up a pair of saves in 4.1 innings of work for the Catamounts this past week. He worked a scoreless frame at Presbyterian on Tuesday night, before closing out the series opener vs. Winthrop with 3.0 innings of scoreless relief work on Thursday. Snyder came on for the final two outs in the series clincher Saturday, stranding the tying run at third base in a 7-6 win over the Eagles.

Snyder is 3-0 this season with a 1.20 ERA and two saves in 13 appearances this season.

Snyder played for the Culpeper Cavaliers in 2025.
