DeSales senior outfielder JT Andersoky has been named the MAC Freedom Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
Anderosky becomes the seventh Bulldog to win Player of the Year honors and the first to win Defensive Player of the Year honors in the first year for the award. He earns First-Team honors for the second time and is All-Conference for the third time after earning Second-Team honors last season.
Anderosky has had a historic season with a school-record tying 76 hits and 61 runs scored, just two shy of tying the single-season record. He is batting .415 with a team-high 18 doubles and 34 RBIs, while also leading the team with 34 stolen bases, which is tied for the second most in a season. Defensively he has not made an error in 130 chances and has contributed five outfield assists this season.
Anderosky played in the VBL for the Harrisonburg Turks and the Woodstock River Bandits.
