Woodstock 4, Purcellville 3

Woodstock scored the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning to edge the Cannons. Geovanni Hernandez (Florida Gulf Coast) scored what proved to be the winning run on a fielder’s choice grounder by Austin Ford (Averett).

Hernandez and Asher Bates (Dallas College-Mt. View) each had two hits for the River Bandits.

Connor Cliborne (Southern Union CC) struck out four of the five batters he faced in the final 1.1 innings to pick up the win on the mound.

For the Cannons, Thomas Marsala (Northwestern State) had two hits and Josh Ibe (Stephen F. Austin) hit a solo homer.
