Rain hit the Valley for the first time this season but four games were still played
Winchester 4, New Market 3
Christian Dillard Middle Georga State) belted a two-out double in the bottom of the ninth inning, lifting the Royals to a 4-3 win over New Market.
Dillard and Cameron Tellefson (ODU) each had two and Tellefson drove in two runs.
Aiden Jovia (Iona) pitched four innings and allowed just one in relief for Winchester.
Mario Lopez Jr. (Rollins) had two base hits for New Market.
Purcellville 15, Front Royal 5
Purcellville scores 12 runs over the final three innings as the Cannons rallied for the victory
Seth Williams (WVU), Shintaro Inoue (Kansas Stare) and Thomas Marsala (Northwestern State) each had two base hits for the Cannons.
Ryan Gargett (Lubbock Christian) and Clint Seymore (Louisiana Tech) each drove in two runs for the Cannons.
For Front Royal, Nicholas Dombroski (Stony Brook) and Jonathan Maassen (Florida Gulf Coast) each had two RBIs.
Waynesboro 15, Charlottesville 13
Charlottesville scored 12 runs in the top of the second inning, but Waynesboro rallied to take a 15-13 win.
Jake Mueller was 3-for-6 with two RBIs for the Generals. Nick April-Gath (Florida Southwestern) and Greg Caban (Florida Southwester) each had two base hits.
Tommy Landsnes (Ball State) was 3-for-4 with a double, homer and four RBIs. Lucas Ream (Shippensburg) also had four RBIs and teammate Aiden Harris (Virginia) drove in two Runs.
Staunton 13, Woodstock 8
Staunton took an early 7-0 lead and held on to defeat the River Bandits.
Jose Vasquez (Arkansas- Pine Bluff), Easton Ogle (VMI), Max Lawson (Longwood) and Hudson Walburn (West Alabama) each had two hits. Lawson, Brody Melton (Milligan) and Walburn each drove in a pair of runs.
Yuma Koda (Hibbing CC), JT Anderosky (DeSales), Lucas Badalato (Gulf Coast State) and Brayden Harris (Potomac State) each had two base hits. Koda drove in a pair of runs.
