Staunton scored five runs over the final two innings to break a 4-4 tie and take a 9-4 win at Covington.
Drew Lucy (Charleston) had two hits and Brody Melton (Milligan) added a two-run homer for the Braves.
Jonathan Strohecker (JMU) allowed 1 run on five hits in 4.2 innings. Trey Gauch (Randolph-Macon) came on with one out and the bases loaded in the eighth and induced a double-play ball to end the threat. Gauch worked the ninth to earn the save.
Cross Yarborough (Charleston Southern), Chris Carroll (Eastern Florida State College) and George Pardo Jr. (Palm Beach State) each had two hits for the Lumberjacks. Yarborough drove in two runs.
Harrisonburg 3, Charlottesville 1
Four Harrisonburg pitchers combined to silence Charlottesville on five hits in a 3-1 victory.
Brodie Scott (Jacksonville) pitched six innings and allowed one unearned run on five hits. Zane Starling (North Florida) worked the ninth to earn the save.
Conner Spelman (Jacksonville) had two hits and Jaxon Walker (Walters State) homered for the Turks.
Tanner Craytor (Sewanee) and Grayson McCollum (Kennesaw State) each had two hits for the Tom Sox.
Anthony Mancini (Saint Peter’s) pitched 3.1 innings of scoreless relief for Charlottesville.
Culpeper 5, Waynesboro 4
Joey Rogers (Wingate) singled in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning to lift Culpeper to a 5-4 win while handing the Generals their first loss of the season.
Parker Hildebrand (Mount St. Mary’s) and Greyson Gregg (Mercer) each had two hits for Culpeper. Johnny Sutryl (Charlotte) and Rogers each drove in two runs.
Wesley Jones (Charlotte) earned the save with two innings on one-hit relief. Jones struck out four.
Connor O’Sullivan (Rollins) and Ben Schechterman (Eastern Michigan) each had two hits for Waynesboro.
Purcellville 7 Woodstock 3
Purcellville won its third straight game with a 7-3 win over Woodstock.
Five Cannons – Shintaro Inoue (Kansas State, Seth Williams (West Virginia), Vincenzo Cusat (Frederick CC), Patrick Lyons (Air Force), and AJ Greene (Memphis) – each had two hits, Cusat and Williams both homered. Cusat and Lyons each drove in two runs.
Cannons starter Merrick Beamish (North Central Texas College) pitched five scoreless innings. He allowed three hits, struck out seven and walked four.
Abdriel Delgado (Jacksonville) had three hits for Woodstock.
Strasburg 12, Front Royal 4
Strasburg scored four runs in the first and led the entire game against the Cardinals.
Caden Haywood (Western Carolina) was 4-for-5 with a homer and five RBIs for the Express. Wade Shelley (Auburn) was 3-for-4 and JW Kohlmeyer (VMI was 2-for-5.
Joseph Montgomery (Villanova), Sangwoon Jeon (New Mexico Military Institute), Danny Orr (UMBC) and Jaxon Kehoe (Harford CC) – each had two hits for Front Royal. Jeon homered and had three RBIs.
Winchester 13, New Market 8
Winchester defeated New Market, handing the Rebels their first loss of the season.
Cooper Harris (Alcorn State) was 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the Royals. Todd Abraham (Binghamton) and Cameron Tellefson (Old Dominion) each added two hits. James Pitts (State College of Florida) drove in two runs for Winchester.
Grayson Godbee (Western Kentucky) was 3-for-4 with three RBIs for New Market. Matthew Murphy (Goldey-Beacom) and Matt Murchison (UNC-Wilmington) each added two base hits for the Rebels.
